Tauro Leon was born in a loving family in Spain, Madrid to Ariel and Sara Leon. The Leon family home was by the beach and Tauro would always rest his little body on the warm sand and enjoy the salty smell of the sea as the waves crashed against the rocks and the sun set over the horizon.
He lived the perfect life until the day his mother discovered she's pregnant. He couldn't understand why her and his dad had this look of horror on their faces as he was the happiest kid on this planet. He always wanted a younger brother or sister to dote over. As the delivery date came closer and closer, Tauro’s excitement grew and he thought about what he's gonna name the coming baby, asking his friends and teachers.
On the 8th August, Aguero was born and the family had to move to Japan. A soon as he released from hospital, he brought little baby Aguero to their beach house and once Tauro landed his chestnut eyes on this adorable chubby face, he knew he's gonna protect him no matter what, even if he's his half brother. Tauro didn't care that they didn’t share 100% of their DNA, he was going to treat him the same no matter what.
When he was 15, his parents told him the bitter truth about his mother’s rape but he didn't change the way he acted around Aguero, he pampered him even more.
As the two brothers grew up, he couldn’t help but notice his darling baby brother becoming depressed so he started to work out and learn fighting techniques. Once he was ready, he went to Aguero's school, hunted down the bullies and beat the shit out of them.
After that accident Tauro was transferred to home schooling. One night Aguero came into his big brother's room and hugged him, crying. Tauro comforted him and let him sleep next to him that night.
The family moved to Florida, USA. As they both got older and Tauro entered college while Aguero entered high school, the day Tauro dreaded arrived. Aguero found out the truth about Tauro’s violence and of course, he was angry at him. Tauro didn't know what to do, for the first time in his life he couldn't bear the face of disappointment his brother had, even his poor mother couldn't look at him in the face.
After two gruelling years of pain, miscommunication and regret, he decided to take a long hard look at his life and change things for the better, knowing if he didn’t he’d end up in prison. Good things followed, he broke up with his toxic boss, Aguero forgave him and told him the abuse he's been through because his grandmother. Tauro got angry but Aguero quickly told him about the mysterious book he found in the Kasaragi to distract him.
He didn’t believe it but when he accidentally touched the book, and ended up face to face with a demon, it was a very bad day for Tauro.
Years passed and Tauro was finally in a stable job, working as a nurse in a hospital daycare as he’d dreamed about since he was a little kid. He was happy to know that he was making the lives of the children in his care better and his heart slowly began to mend itself.
One day where he snuck into the hospital’s pharmacy development department, he was looking around for some painkillers for a seriously ill child when he accidentally smashed a very expensive distillation funnel. The lead chemist, one Darya Smirnov walked in to see him with the broken pieces of glass in his hands and demanded for him to buy her a new one.
He didn’t see what the big deal was, until he found out that he was the same funnel that she’d been gifted right at the beginning of her career. He heard her talking with someone about how 'this stupid nurse who's face like a cow ass broke my favourite funnel' and it actually made him laugh. It’d been a while since an adult had brought him joy like that. He left it on her table and left before she came into the lab.
He spent weeks watching this girl hurry about the laboratory doing all her colleagues work and soon realised that she spent most of her time being excluded, being alone. He would frown whenever he saw her that lonely so when he got the chance he and picked a playful argument with her and eventually she got used to it and played along with him until they became good friends.
