Florence wasn't given a name until she was two weeks old. She was born in a hospital in Missouri to her biologicial mother. Before the nurses could take her in for checks, her mother had fled with her. She was finally given her name when she was dropped off at her biological dad's doorstep, Lev Smirnov the famous basketball player, who was unsure at first but decided to keep her and raise her as his daughter. Growing up, the Smirnov household was full of laughter and love. She never had any doubt that her grandparents adored her and her dad would do anything for her, even when she decided to act out or be mean to the other kids at her school. Out of all of them, she made fun of her cousin Aleks for his stupid strand of green hair and teased him endlessly, always making the girls around her call him dorky and weird. Her dad scolded her but she knew he would get over it. She only stopped teasing him when they both got to highschool and had their own friendship groups. There, she became the captain of her schook's girl's netball team and earned acclaim and praise from everyone around her.
