Born to the loving parents of Sara and Aziel Leon on the 8th of August, Aguero Leon was a shy, freezing, little bundle of joy from the very first day. He was raised in the bustling city of Kyoto in Japan with his older doting brother, Tauro.
Their family was small, but their bonds were unbreakable, especially between the two brothers who were truly as thick as thieves and always knew what each other was thinking. Aguero was always seen as the baby of the family, the one to be protected at all costs and was rarely taken outside into the city until he was able to walk by himself.
As he began school, his anxiety started to take root as the other kids started to notice that he and his family weren't fully Japanese and rumours began to spread about how he looked different from his brother... and how his mother was a whore who had cheated on his father with another man to concieve him. He gained the nickname, 'bastard child' which followed him into high school.
He became cold and resentful to the other children soon after the bullying took a turn for the worst and the kids began to gang up on him after classes to verbally and sometimes physically abuse him which is when he adopted his signature blank faced expression and develop severe anger issues. For a shy little kid, he began to fight back.
At 15, he found out that his biological father wasn't the same man who raised him by accidentally stumbling across his mother's diary. In truth, he was biologically one of the sons of the Hiro clan's leader, Yoshida Hiro, who sexually assaulted his mother to secure the clan an heir and therefore, their future. Naturally, this turned the life he thought he knew completely upside down and bitterness overcame him. Angry at his mother and father for keeping the truth from him for so many years, he chose to reject them and embrace the Hiro clan fully, starting by colouring his hair blue to fit in with the rest of the clan's appearance. For once in his life, he couldn't bear the idea of being the outsider again. During this time, his biological grandmother found him and began to torture him under the guise of training to punish him for being born to someone not purely of Hiro descent. Luckily, he escapes this 'training' but it left permanent marks on his body, self confidence, and soul.
When he was 17 and a half, Kana Hachi sought and singled him out for intense, traditional training after overhearing him express his desire to be as strong as his older classmates. Slowly he grew in strength as he unlocked the use of a certain precious book, which allowed interactions with demons, and was cursed but was also gifted with ice powers to use to protect others.
On his 18th birthday, he decided to finally leave any contact with the Hiro clan in the past and fully embrace being a proud Leon, son to Aziel and Sara. His hair was changed back to its original, beautiful blonde. Starting this brand new chapter, the family decided to leave Japan in the past and move to Florida, USA.
A few months after the family moved, Aguero was witness to a tragic house fire and saw a helpless child scrambling to escape. He was brought back to his own childhood trauma by his grandmother and ultimately ran into the house to pull the child from the wreckage however as he himself was escaping, the roof collapsed on him and burnt slices into the spread of his back. He went to hospital and luckily sustained only the scars.
Aguero began studying for his business degree, not knowing really what he wanted in life. Classes were easy as he had a natural aptitude for studying and academics and he shot to the top without much of a struggle. His social life was non-existent as his anxiety still restrained him from partaking in activities with his classmates however his brother helped to encourage him to take anti-anxiety medication.
Aguero grew both in confidence and in determination and became best friends with Iris Leith, a music major and the two grew close, attempting and ultimately failing at dating each other, it only lasting a couple of weeks.
During his second year at university,
During his second year of university, he was introduced to Aguero Leon by their mutual friend, Iris Leith, and they surprisingly hit it off straight away. Half way through the year, the three of them decided to rent out an apartment in the city where they would remain until their final year.
During their final year's exam season when Iris was out with his new boyfriend, August and Aguero had taken up studying together until the early hours of the morning. After one evening where alcohol was thrown into the mix, the two best friends hooked up. They swore to each other that nothing like that would ever happen again, however after a few weeks of their repressed feelings bubbling to the surface, they were sexually intimate and confessed their feelings to one another.
Post university, the couple moved to a smaller apartment on the west side of the state and August was offered the junior designer position at Elitas Design to work on an outside meditation space for the CityCrane skyscraper.
A few years later, during one of the couple's date nights, they stumbled across three young children sleeping rough on the street after escaping their orphanage and took them home after seeing how nalnourished they were. A week later, him and Aguero decided to formally adopt the three children, naming them Lev, Yury and Lilia. That very same night, they went to town hall to get married.
As the children grew up and Yury and Lev eventually left home to attend universities, August achieved his dream to be the lead designer on a Japanese and Russian fusion restaurant named 'Осень-Sakura', which translates to Autumn Sakura.
When his daughter Lilia turned 18, he admitted to his husband that he was slowly falling out of love with him, having not spent as much time together as they had in their youth. Desperate to not have their marriage end in divorce, they created a bucketlist together of adventures which culminated in a trip to Seoul a year afterwards where August finally reaffirmed his love for him.
